If you have ever considered a sunless tan, you probably already know the basics. There are so many options out there that it can be hard to choose which direction to take. Two of the more popular methods of getting that gorgeous glow are via a professional airbrush tanning artist or a sunless spray booth. Both come with pros and cons to consider, so before you decide which way is best for you, let’s take a look at each.

Professional Airbrush Tanning

Professional airbrush tanning comes with several benefits. This type of airbrushing is entirely effortless on your part. The artist will put you in all of the right positions, and they can reach all of the hard to tan areas on your body that you don’t typically see (for example, under your boobs and rear end). This is especially helpful for first-timers and those who don’t sunless tan often since it can be hard to remember to angle yourself in just the right way to get an even glow. Another excellent feature is that the airbrush artist can customize your tan. If you want your face lighter than the rest of your body or if you want your legs darker, they can do it! You can ask them to customize your tan in almost any way that suits your taste, and the artist can do whatever you ask.

There are a few cons to professional airbrushing. Because there will be tan lines with anything you wear, you will have to get nude in front of a stranger; so, if you are body shy, you may want to avoid professional airbrushing. Also, because the artist needs to spend one-on-one time with you, you will need to make an appointment. This may not be a con for a lot of people, but if you are a spur-of-the-moment type of person or if you need a tan at the last minute, this option may not be for you.

Sunless Spray Booths

Sunless spray booths are a popular option and have several pros. They are speedy and convenient. Most sunless spray booths do not require an appointment, so you can stop by at any time. Additionally, if you are a little shy, this option may suit you because there is no need to get nude in front of anyone, and sunless spray booths do a great job of putting on one nice, even layer all over your body.

However, there are a couple of downsides to using a sunless spray booth. First, you must be able to follow the directions. If you are new to sunless tanning, this can be a bit intimidating. Also, there is no way to customize your tan. If you prefer to have parts of your body darker or lighter, or if you are on the curvier side, there is no way to modify the booth’s functions to lighten or darken sections or to get underneath a curvy girl’s boobs or rear.

Both professional airbrushing and sunless spray booths are excellent ways to achieve a gorgeous tan all year long. Knowing the pros and cons of each will help you decide which option is best for you.
